The Front of our Nevada bill pictures Henry Goode Blasdel, the first governor of the State of Nevada.  The bill's denomination, 1864, is the year that the state entered the Union as the 36th state.  The actual date of admission, 10/31/64, is encoded in the serial number within NV, the state's abbreviation.  Carson City, NV is shown as the capital city. 

 

The Back of the Bill pictures the Mountain Bluebird as the state bird, the Sagebrush as the state wildflower, the Bristlecone Pine as the state tree, and the Desert Bighorn Sheep.
